The Church of Jesus Christ Forever (Perfect Church)

A spiritual movement advocating for perfection and divine kingship in Christ.

The Church of Jesus Christ Forever, often referred to as the Perfect Church, is a religious organization that presents itself as a conduit for believers to live fully in the love and gospel of Jesus Christ. Founded on the teachings of the Bible, the church emphasizes the importance of being led by the Spirit of God, overcoming sin, and understanding perfection. It promotes the idea that believers can follow the Spirit of God at all times and that overcoming all sin in one’s life is possible through adherence to the teachings of Jesus Christ. The ultimate reward, as taught by the church, is to come forth in the likeness and image of Christ, achieving a state of perfection and unity with God.

The church was founded on the prophecies and teachings of Rev. Rose M. Aluli, who led the organization until her death in 1992. Aluli’s teachings emphasized the possibility of believers overcoming sin to obtain perfection and becoming “Manifested Sons of God,” heirs and joint heirs with Jesus Christ. The church holds that through the Holy Spirit and Scriptures, individuals can attain this state of perfection, a core belief that has drawn both followers and criticism. After Aluli’s passing, the mantle of leadership passed to Kale Aluli, who continues to lead the church towards its vision of perfection.

Critics of the Church of Jesus Christ Forever have raised concerns about its teachings and the deification of its founders. Comparisons have been made to other religious movements where leaders have been elevated to god-like statuses, and the church’s doctrines have been scrutinized for suggesting that its leaders, Rose and Kale Aluli, possess divine attributes. Such claims have sparked debate about the theological basis of these assertions and their alignment with mainstream Christian doctrine. The church’s portrayal of Jesus Christ and its leaders as having achieved a state of perfection and godhood challenges traditional Christian teachings regarding the uniqueness and deity of Jesus Christ.

The Church of Jesus Christ Forever’s emphasis on perfection, divine kingship, and the spiritual authority of its leaders represents a distinct and controversial interpretation of Christian theology. Its teachings on overcoming sin, the potential for believers to live in complete unity with God, and the elevation of its founders to positions of divine authority have marked it as a unique presence within the broader religious landscape.
